Dashboard
The dashboard is the central view in Agent HQ. It combines the task board and conversation panel into a single workspace.
Layout
Section titled “Layout”The dashboard has three main areas:
Header bar
Section titled “Header bar”When a project is active, the header shows:
- Back button to return to the full project list
- Project name with color indicator
- GitHub repo badge (if connected)
Main area — Task board
Section titled “Main area — Task board”The left side displays the Task Board with Kanban columns for Backlog, In Progress, and Done. This is where you see and manage all tasks for the active project.
Right panel — Conversation
Section titled “Right panel — Conversation”When a conversation is active, the right panel shows the Pilot Chat interface. You can:
- Read message history
- Send new messages to Pilot
- Watch streaming responses
- See tool invocations and reasoning
Resizable split
Section titled “Resizable split”The divider between the task board and conversation panel is draggable, letting you allocate more space to whichever view you need.
Project context
Section titled “Project context”The dashboard always shows content scoped to the active project. When you select a project in the sidebar:
- The task board filters to that project’s tasks
- The header updates with the project’s info
- New conversations are scoped to this project
No project selected
Section titled “No project selected”When no project is active, the dashboard shows all tasks across your workspace.
